Virginia State University is rich with student involvement with more than 100 clubs and organizations, numerous alumni contributions, and a familial environment.  The Reginald F. Lewis School of Business reflects that overarching culture.

We prepare students for a professional environment outside of the classroom by encouraging membership in the many clubs and organizations.

For those students interested in the field of accounting and finance, there are the Virginia State University chapters of the National Association of Black Accountants, the Financial Management Association, and the Global Association of Risk Professionals.

For students interested in Management Information Systems, there is the VSU chapter of the Black Data Processing Association.  Those students interested in Management and Marketing are encouraged to participate in the Business Management Club and the Marketing Club.

Additionally, students are encouraged to participate in the Dean’s Student Advisory Board and Students in Free Enterprise.  Every spring the top ten percent of the junior and senior class are invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society.
